<p>About the Role:<br />We are looking for a proactive and commercially savvy Finance Business Partner to join our team in the [Durables/Consumer Electronics] sector. In this role, you will move beyond traditional reporting to act as a co-pilot to the Sales and Marketing leadership. Your primary mission will be to drive top-line growth while ensuring profitability through rigorous channel performance management, pricing strategy, and trade spend optimization.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>1. Commercial Partnership &amp; Top-line Growth</p><p>· Partner closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies that drive revenue growth across all product categories.<br />· Challenge and support the business to identify new revenue streams and market opportunities.<br />· Lead the monthly sales forecasting process, ensuring alignment with market trends, inventory levels, and promotional calendars.</p><p>2. Channel Performance Management</p><p>· Analyze profitability across different sales channels (e.g., Retail, E-commerce, Distributors, B2B, Direct Sales).<br />· Develop KPIs to monitor channel health, sell-through rates, and inventory turnover.<br />· Provide insights on channel mix optimization to maximize market share and EBITDA.</p><p>3. Pricing &amp; Trade Spend Analysis</p><p>· Lead pricing analysis for new product launches and ongoing portfolio management. Model the financial impact of price elasticity and competitive pricing moves.<br />· Manage the Trade Spend/Incentives budget. Partner with sales to ensure ROI on promotions and customer discounts.<br />· Conduct post-mortem analysis on major sales events to evaluate effectiveness.</p><p>4. Rebate &amp; Incentive Management</p><p>· Oversee the calculation, accrual, and settlement of complex customer and distributor rebate programs.<br />· Ensure rebate structures are designed to incentivize desired customer behaviors (volume growth, category share gain) while protecting margins.<br />· Audit and validate rebate claims to prevent revenue leakage.</p><p>5. Strategic Planning &amp; Control</p><p>· Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (Budget) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) for the business unit.<br />· Ensure compliance with internal controls related to revenue recognition and sales deductions.</p><p>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</p><p>· Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA or professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA) is a plus.<br />· Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A) or commercial finance, preferably within the Consumer Durables, Retail, or FMCG industries.<br />· Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
