<p>Job Description - APAC ITBA (global role)</p><p>Role Overview </p><p>We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to drive technology-enabled business improvements across APAC operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of translating complex business needs into clear, scalable IT solutions within highly regulated environments-ideally pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply-chain, or multi-channel retail. You will act as the primary liaison between regional business stakeholders and global IT delivery teams, ensuring that every initiative increases revenue, reduces risk, and elevates customer experience.</p><p> Key Responsibilities </p><ul><li>Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for new capabilities, system enhancements, and integrations across markets such as Singapore, Australia, Korea, and India.</li><li>Lead fit-gap analysis, process re-engineering, and cost-benefit assessments; present findings in concise business cases to regional and global leadership.</li><li>Design future-state workflows, data models, and user stories that comply with GxP, GDP, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., TGA, HSA, MFDS).</li><li>Partner with enterprise architects to select COTS or SaaS solutions (ERP, CRM, PLM, WMS) and oversee vendor evaluation, PoCs, and contract SOWs.</li><li>Coordinate iterative testing cycles (OQ/IQ/PQ in pharma) and manage UAT across multilingual user groups; ensure traceability from requirement to test script to defect.</li><li>Champion agile/scrum ceremonies, maintain a groomed product backlog, and monitor sprint velocity, burn-down, and release readiness metrics.</li><li>Drive post-go-live hyper-care, adoption surveys, and benefit-realization reviews; iterate quickly on feedback to achieve ≥ 95 % user-satisfaction scores.</li><li>Maintain a risk register for data integrity, cybersecurity, and cold-chain compliance; align with regional Quality, Safety, and Privacy officers.</li><li>Mentor junior BAs and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, documentation standards, and reusable templates.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.</li><li>5+ years of full-cycle business-analysis experience, including at least two end-to-end implementations in pharma manufacturing, clinical trials, retail merchandising, or e-commerce fulfilment.</li><li>Demonstrated command of Business Process Model & Notation (BPMN 2.0), UML, and user-story mapping; skilled with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools.</li><li>Solid understanding of validation frameworks (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11) and retail standards (EPCIS, GS1, PCI-DSS).</li><li>Fluent English (written & verbal) with ability to facilitate workshops across multiple time zones; Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese fluency a distinct advantage.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset-can interpret complex data sets via SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to uncover actionable insights.</li><li>Willingness to travel up to 25 % within APAC as business needs dictate.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Certification: CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAFe POPM, or Scrum Product Owner.</li><li>Experience with cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API-first architectures (REST, GraphQL).</li><li>Familiarity with serialization, track-and-trace, or retail omnichannel journeys (click-and-collect, last-mile delivery).</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP Cloud, Salesforce, or Manhattan WMS.</li><li>Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority; culturally astute across diverse APAC markets.</li></ul><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
