Job Responsibly/Description:<ul><li>We are looking for a hands-on Finance Head to own US GAAP reporting, internal controls, and tax/compliance oversight for a multi-entity, publicly listed technology group spanning China (Beijing, Wuhan) and the Philippines. This is an in-house role - not an audit/advisory position - requiring someone comfortable both reviewing/approving work and rolling up sleeves on daily operations, while managing a small team.</li></ul> Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Close<ul><li>Own US GAAP reporting and month-end close (review and approve; data entry handled by team members and/or automated systems)</li><li>Review and final sign-off on financial statements across entities</li><li>Manage day-to-day financial review and operational finance processes</li></ul>Controls & Audit<ul><li>Oversee SOX / internal controls compliance</li><li>Act as single point of contact for external auditors across all entities</li><li>Ensure internal audit readiness and remediation of findings</li></ul>Management Reporting & Planning<ul><li>Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning</li><li>Provide management reporting and financial analysis to leadership</li></ul>Tax & Transfer Pricing<ul><li>Oversee company tax compliance and filings (reviewing Tax Specialist's work)</li><li>Provide tax and transfer-pricing oversight at a strategic/review level</li></ul>Approvals<ul><li>Hold final payment and payroll approval authority</li></ul>Team & Regional Oversight<ul><li>Manage a team of 2 (bookkeeping/payments + tax), total team of 3 including self</li><li>Provide regulatory/compliance oversight for Beijing, Wuhan, and Philippines offices (~100 headcount each)</li></ul>Systems<ul><li>Support AI/systems strategy for finance function efficiency</li></ul> RequirementsMust-have<ul><li>Fluent English (required for US GAAP reporting and communication with global stakeholders)</li><li>Strong technical US GAAP knowledge</li><li>Experience with listed/public company financial statements and disclosures</li><li>SOX / internal controls / internal audit compliance experience</li><li>In-house finance experience (not purely audit-firm background)</li><li>People management experience - able to lead and develop a small team</li><li>Good interpersonal skills; collaborative, coachable, willing to learn</li></ul> Preferred<ul><li>Technology / SaaS industry background, ideally at a listed company</li><li>Big 4 background is a plus</li><li>Experience with multi-country/cross-border finance operations (China, Philippines, or broader APAC)</li><li>Exposure to tax and transfer-pricing matters.</li></ul>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
