Key Strategic Responsibilities1. Sourcing Strategy & Supply Network Design· Develop and execute a multi-year category sourcing strategy that aligns with global brand ambitions, demand volatility, and margin targets. · Engineer a future-ready, resilient supplier matrix - balancing scale, specialty, and geographic concentration - to support both core replenishment and agile fashion drops. · Continuously scan the manufacturing ecosystem in China and Southeast Asia to proactively capture innovation, capacity shifts, and risk mitigation opportunities.2. Strategic Cost Leadership & Value Engineering· Move beyond transactional negotiation to total-cost-of-ownership optimization, leveraging clean-sheet costing, raw material hedging strategies, and supplier co-investment models. · Establish a center of excellence for cost analytics and should-cost modeling, driving fact-based negotiations that protect margin without compromising brand quality or sustainability credentials. · Forge strategic partnerships with Tier-1 and raw material suppliers to co-develop value-engineered fabrics and trims, securing exclusive capabilities and multi-season cost roadmaps.3.
