This role is ideal for a security professional with deep expertise in <strong>application security</strong>, <strong>mobile security</strong>, and <strong>security architecture</strong>, along with strong knowledge of compliance requirements in China.</p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><ul><li>Based in <strong>Shanghai</strong>, or willing to relocate to our <strong>Shanghai office</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the design and implementation of secure architecture across applications, mobile platforms, and enterprise environments</li><li>Conduct threat analysis and provide security design recommendations across the software development lifecycle</li><li>Drive application security initiatives with a focus on secure coding, testing, and risk mitigation</li><li>Perform and guide <strong>white box</strong> and <strong>black box</strong> security testing using common industry frameworks</li><li>Review and strengthen application security controls, including <strong>static code review</strong>, <strong>dynamic API scanning</strong>, and <strong>web application firewall</strong> strategies</li><li>Partner with development, infrastructure, and business teams to embed security best practices into systems and processes</li><li>Support compliance and privacy requirements related to mobile applications in China, including <strong>WeChat Mini Program</strong> environments</li><li>Advise on broader security controls across network, endpoint, and cloud environments, including firewalls, secure web gateways, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention technologies</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5+ years</strong> of progressive experience in related fields such as mobile security, web application security, secure coding, security design, and threat analysis. Based on general knowledge.</li><li>Full understanding of major <strong>OWASP</strong> flagship projects, including <strong>ASVS</strong>, <strong>Top 10</strong>, and <strong>Cheat Sheets</strong>, with strong emphasis on application security and mobile security. Based on general knowledge.</li><li>Strong knowledge of common application security controls, including static code review, dynamic API scans, and web application firewalls. Based on general knowledge.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of application security testing and the ability to perform both white box and black box testing. Based on general knowledge.</li><li>Familiarity with network, endpoint, and cloud security controls, including network firewalls, secure web gateways, endpoint protection tools, and data loss prevention technologies.
