<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>We are a global consumer goods company seeking an <strong>experienced SAP SD Consultant</strong> to join our APAC support team. This role is <strong>primarily operationally focused</strong> - handling daily business tickets for China and APAC regions - while also offering opportunities to participate in <strong>small-scale change requests and process improvement projects</strong>. The ideal candidate combines <strong>deep SD technical expertise</strong>, <strong>strong problem-solving ownership</strong>, and <strong>excellent English communication skills</strong> to collaborate effectively with a reporting line based in India.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li><strong>Daily Operations &amp; Ticket Handling</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Manage and resolve SAP SD tickets from users across China and APAC (covering order processing, deliveries, billing, pricing, output control, customer master, credit management, etc.).</li><li>Independently analyze issues, identify root causes, design solutions, and implement fixes within agreed SLAs.</li><li>Document resolution steps and contribute to the continuous improvement of the knowledge base.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Cross-functional Coordination</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Work closely with business users (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions.</li><li>Coordinate with ABAP development team for enhancements, reports, and bug fixes.</li><li>Collaborate with QA/testing teams to ensure thorough regression testing and smooth deployment of changes.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Small Change Project Execution</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Take ownership of regional change requests (e.g., configuration adjustments, interface fine-tuning, process tweaks) - from requirement gathering and configuration to testing and go-live support.</li></ul><ol><li><strong>Global Team Collaboration</strong></li></ol><ul><li>Communicate proactively with the India reporting line and other APAC country IT teams, including participation in cross-time-zone meetings.</li><li>Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and solution proposals to ensure alignment with global standards.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience</strong>: 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD support or implementation projects.
