Planning Tool PM/ BA (Contractor Position)

Role SummaryWe are looking for a Planning Tool PM / BA to support the end-to-end delivery of planning tool projects, with the role being more PM-heavy. The successful candidate will assist with project management activities, including coordination for SIT and UAT, support for change management, and participation in stakeholder interviews and basic business analysis. Relevant experience in retail or FMCG is preferred, especially exposure to planning-related business processes.Key Responsibilities1) Planning Tool Project Management <ul><li>Support planning tool project execution by coordinating day-to-day activities within the project team.</li><li>Manage/track project plans and progress (e.g., milestones, task follow-ups, action logs).</li><li>Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables and issue resolution.</li><li>Assist the project lead/manager in preparing and maintaining project documentation and status reports.</li></ul>2) SIT & UAT Support<ul><li>Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.</li><li>Coordinate test schedules, support test case preparation as needed, and track issues/defects to closure.</li><li>Work with business users and the technical team to validate expected outcomes.</li></ul>3) Change Management<ul><li>Support change management activities, including communicating updates, collecting feedback, and supporting adoption.</li><li>Assist with training materials or guidance (as required by the project plan).</li><li>Help ensure new processes or tool changes are understood by relevant stakeholders.</li></ul>4) Stakeholder Interviews & Requirements Gathering<ul><li>Participate in interviews/workshops with business users to understand requirements and current workflows.</li><li>Document requirements clearly and support alignment between business and technical teams.</li></ul>5) Basic Analysis (Supportive)<ul><li>Perform basic analysis to support requirement validation and testing readiness (e.g., preparing simple summaries and insights).</li><li>Support data checking and validation tasks when needed.</li></ul>Qualifications & Experience<ul><li>Experience supporting planning tool / software implementation projects as a PM/BA (or equivalent).</li><li>Retail or FMCG experience is preferred (exposure to planning/sales/demand or related business processes).</li><li>Experience supporting SIT/UAT activities and coordinating stakeholders for testing.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel for basic analysis (e.g., pivot tables and data checks).</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Familiarity with change management concepts and user adoption practices.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to timelines under project constraints.</li><li>Structured thinking, good documentation habits, and attention to detail.</li></ul>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
