<p><strong>Recruiting Ad: IT Security PM </strong></p><p><strong>Job Title: IT Security Project Manager (EDR)</strong></p><p>We are looking for an experienced <strong>IT Security Project Manager</strong> to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of <strong>Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)</strong> projects across our organization. This role will work closely with cybersecurity teams, IT operations, business stakeholders, and external vendors to strengthen endpoint security while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>EDR Project Planning &amp; Initiation</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the development of EDR project plans, including project scope, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessment</li><li>Ensure project plans align with overall cybersecurity strategy and business priorities, such as retail peak-season security and hotel guest data protection</li><li>Organize and lead project kickoff meetings with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, IT support, business operations managers, and external EDR vendors</li><li>Document project decisions, define roles and responsibilities, and clearly communicate objectives to all stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>EDR Project Execution &amp; Delivery</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the end-to-end implementation of EDR projects, including installation, configuration, and integration with existing security tools such as SIEM and firewalls</li><li>Coordinate pilot deployments in selected business units to validate EDR capabilities, including threat detection, real-time response, and false-positive reduction</li><li>Lead enterprise-wide rollout activities while minimizing operational impact by scheduling deployments during non-peak business hours</li><li>Track project progress using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Asana, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget</li></ul><p><strong>Risk Management &amp; Issue Resolution</strong></p><ul><li>Identify project risks proactively, such as vendor delays, endpoint compatibility issues, and end-user resistance, and develop mitigation plans</li><li>Drive timely resolution of critical project issues by working closely with cybersecurity teams, IT operations, and external vendors</li><li>Support problem-solving efforts related to EDR false positives, legacy system compatibility, and vendor performance</li></ul><p><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration &amp; Communication</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Work closely with business departments to understand their endpoint security requirements, including retail POS protection and hotel guest device security</li><li>Coordinate with EDR vendors on technical support, upgrades, maintenance, and service level management</li><li>Present project progress, outcomes, ROI, and optimization recommendations to senior leadership, including the CISO and IT Director</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or Security Project Manager, preferably in cybersecurity or endpoint security initiatives</li><li>Strong knowledge of <strong>EDR solutions</strong> such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or similar platforms</li><li>Experience managing security technology deployments and integrations with SIEM, firewalls, and other security infrastructure</li><li>Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Asana</li><li>Strong risk management, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively across technical teams, business units, and external partners</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-site enterprise environments</li><li>Understanding of endpoint security, incident response, and cybersecurity operations</li><li>PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred</li><li>Experience managing large-scale technology rollouts with minimal business disruption</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
