IT Infra Project Manager - Contractor, Base in Guangzhou
<p>Success of new build construction and conversions from an Its standards perspective; Owner relations and negotiations (to some extent); Vendor management oversight and relations (to some extent); Project documentation assurance management; cost modeling for projects.<br /> <br />Education and Experience <br />· Technology and Business-related education or a Bachelor's degree level or equivalent.<br />· 3 years of project management experience.<br />· 3 years in an Associate Supervisory role.<br />· 3 years of experience working with people of different cultures and values in the Global environment.<br /> <br />Key Stakeholders<br />· Senior Director IT Design &amp; Openings, GC IT Peer group, especially IT Operations<br />· Global Design Consultants and MI Global Design Directors<br />· Project/Property Owners and their teams<br />· General Managers and their teams (to some extent)<br />· Cluster leaders and their teams<br />· Infrastructure vendors and consultants<br />· Application vendors and consultants<br /> <br />CORE WORK ACTIVITIES <br />Managing Projects and Priorities<br />· Responsible for IT infrastructure design documentation completeness for new builds/conversions/acquisitions.<br />· Responsible for IT infrastructure design governance new build/conversions/acquisitions.<br />· Responsible for IT infrastructure systems governance for new build/conversions/acquisitions.<br />· Accountable for brand standard compliance of technology at new build/conversions/acquisitions.<br />· Escalation points for consultants in relation to design and infrastructure.<br />· Responsible for IT operations scope, ballpark, cost estimate and feasibility materials preparation.<br />· Facilitating successful and appropriate procurement efforts for new hotel stakeholders.<br />· Responsible for management of defects, escalations and exceptions for all new build/conversions/acquisitions<br />· Responsible for coordination and effective handover to IT Opening team.<br />· Accountable for delivery of accurate scope/cost Acquisition and Property Improvement Plan (PIP) reports.<br />· Responsible for enforcing tools on consultants to utilize and follow standard processes.<br />· Responsible for meeting Technical Services budgets and keeping billing current.<br />· Responsible for sourcing, certification and guiding consultants for use by owners for new build/conversions/acquisitions<br /> <br />Managing Key Stakeholder Expectation<br />· Escalation points for Global Design project managers, Operations Design Development, Area and Pre-Opening Operations teams.<br />· Accountable for Design standards communications.<br />· Responsible for consultant sourcing, approval and certification.<br />· Accountable for coordination and handover to IT PMO Opening team.<br />· Responsible for communication and signing of IT Letter and approvals.<br /> <br />Key Reports Out/Documentation<br />· Accountable for production of accurate Acquisition and Conversion Survey Reports.<br />· Accountable for Region based reports including pipeline report and project status analysis<br />· Accountable for all project related information being updated/improved based on standard operating procedures and project findings<br />· Issuance of Tender Document/PBX, Mockup Room Report, Defect Report and Commission Report by Consultants,<br />· Accountable for project billing by consultants.<br />· Responsible for series of time effective project Defect Report issuance by Consultants and Cluster/IT teams at each project. <br /> <br />Conducting Human Resources Activities<br />· Accountable for initiating pre-opening hiring of IT Associate.</p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
