<p><strong>Company introduction:</strong></p><ul><li>Our client is a global leading company with massive growth business in China</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the development work of multi-type metal components, plastic parts, CNC manufacturing, surface treatment, assembly or chemical treatment of Apple products</li><li>Design the CNC, surface treatment, Assembly process based on cosmetic and drawing requirement, to be pioneering bringing up the new metal material, surface finish mechanism, mapping out process flow, selecting processing equipment, designing corresponding fixtures/ slurries/ wheels /sandpapers/ magazines/ trays, initiating DOEs to find out the best machine setups, cutter materials and coating process, mechanical polishing path and parameters, and finalizing the process solution from prototype stage to mass production stage, and finalizing the process solution</li><li>Be deeply involving in working on multiple customized processes in the scope of: CNC, Polishing, PVD, Chemical treatment, Sand Blasting, Anodizing, Super clean, Laser etching, Automation etc</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Service Description：</strong></p><ul><li>Work cross functionally with Product Design Engineering to assess product features for manufacturability, and recommend capable production processes and equipment</li><li>Work closely with US-based MDEs in the development of above said processes</li><li>Work with Global Supply Managers to develop new equipment from RFQ through factory implementation, and manufacture and deliver material to downstream supply chain nodes on time and on cost</li><li>Work with Manufacturing Quality Engineers to drive yield improvement through analysis of part quality, defect pareto, and SPC</li><li>A heavy emphasis will be on working with suppliers to define and refine mechanical tooling and fixtures, and establishing process capability and readiness</li><li>Coordination of activities and direction through clear communication between the Asia and US-based teams, and vendors is a necessity</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience and technical knowledge in any of the following areas: CNC, stamping, modeling, assembly, coating, fixture/cutter/automation design</li><li>Other process knowledge in 3C industry is preferred</li><li>3+ years of relevant working experience</li><li>Familiar with GD&amp;T, DOE, SPC</li><li>On-site build support; willing to work from factories</li><li>Ability to learn, implement and use Statistical Process Control to make data driven decisions</li><li>Ability and willingness to work independently and travel frequently (mainly in Asia)</li><li>A standout teammate and self-starter with innovation, integrity and attention to details</li><li>Good written and oral interpersonal skills, fluent in English</li><li>BS in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, and/or relevant manufacturing work experience</li></ul><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
