<ul><li>You will be part of the development team supporting crew ecosystem applications. You will design, build, enhance and support full-stack solutions across a range of technologies, delivering outcomes using Agile/Scrum practices. This role involves hands-on development, system integration, and close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure and scalable solutions that support airline operations.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities include: </strong></p><ul><li>Work with business stakeholders and product owners to gather, analyse and clarify requirements.</li><li>Translate requirements into solution designs that align with business objectives, architecture standards, security and non-functional requirements (performance, availability, maintainability).</li><li>Develop and deliver full-stack enhancements across:</li><li>Front-end (React-based UI)</li><li>Back-end services (Java/Spring Boot APIs)</li><li>Integrations (e.g., Apache Camel flows)</li><li>Database changes (Oracle)</li><li>Produce and maintain technical artefacts, including solution/technical design documentation, interface specifications, and SIT plans/test scripts.</li><li>Support backlog refinement by providing technical input on user stories, estimates, dependencies and risks.</li><li>Work closely with the Scrum Master and team on sprint planning, delivery execution and release readiness.</li><li>Perform code reviews and enforce engineering best practices (clean code, secure coding, reliability, data protection).</li><li>Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment practices to improve delivery quality and speed.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues promptly to minimize impact to airline operations, including production support when required.</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors supporting crew applications to ensure timely and quality delivery.</li><li>Perform other relevant ad hoc duties as assigned.</li><li>Requirements</li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with proven full-stack delivery experience.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Strong proficiency in:</strong></p><ul><li>Java (8+) including Streams, concurrency/multithreading, and API development</li><li>Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate</li><li>ReactJS and modern front-end development practices</li><li>Apache Camel (or equivalent enterprise integration frameworks)</li><li>Oracle Database (strong SQL; PL/SQL is an advantage)</li><li>Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with upstream/downstream systems.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS or experience building/supporting cloud-based applications (AWS services knowledge is an advantage).</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control (e.g., Git).</li><li>Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, and use of issue-tracking tools such as Atlassian JIRA.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on operational reliability.</li><li>Good communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and collaboratively within a highly skilled team.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing</li><li>Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum Development methodology, source control system (such as Git) and issue-tracking system like Atlassian JIRA for effective and collaborative development.</li><li>Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders</li><li>Ability to work independently as we as collaboratively within a highly skilled team</li><li>Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications (e.g., consuming AI services/APIs, LLM integration, prompt engineering, RAG/search integration, or AI-driven automation) is an advantage.</li></ul><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
