A company specialising in global logistics, transport, and supply chain services planned to launch a new ERP software as the centrepiece of a global project. China was selected as the first market to deploy the new software, and the company was in urgent need of an ERP expert. The client was seeking an ERP specialist with extensive project management experience combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. In the prevailing market, this profile is highly sought after with demand exceeding supply. By leveraging our extensive talent network, Robert Half recruitment experts provided the client with an efficient and flexible talent solution within just 48 hours. The recruitment consultants assigned an experienced ERP Project Manager to the client’s project team to immediately begin planning the ERP rollout in China. Robert Half also recruited two additional ERP consultants to the company to support the ERP Project Manager. By partnering with Robert Half in the early stages of the project, the client was able to overcome the talent shortage in the Chinese market. With the ERP Project Manager on board, the rollout project is on schedule and operating smoothly. In addition to providing high-quality talent, Robert Half contributed to a significant cost reduction for the client that would have otherwise been spent on outsourcing. After signing a contract with a new partner in China, a company specialising in internet advertising required two solutions architects to assist with the technical integration of the new China-based project. The company had very specific requirements, notably that candidates must have a full-stack technical background, the ability to solve technical problems, excellent English communication skills, and a strong business acumen. The client set a deadline to have two suitably experienced solutions architects on their team in just one month.
