SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax & Finance professional to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and consistency of tax and financial information, managing tax compliance and reporting, supporting statutory financial statement preparation under PRC GAAP, and driving continuous improvement through automation and digitization initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, tax, and financial reporting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and finance stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:Tax Compliance & Reporting<ul><li>Ensure the reliability and consistency of tax information in both the internal accounting system and external tax reporting system.</li><li>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders on annual statutory audits.</li><li>Participate in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and reports for relevant legal entities.</li><li>Handle tax audits, tax inspections, and related communications with tax authorities when required.</li><li>Organize tax forecasts for production activities, monitor changes in tax regulations and policies, and provide advice on tax planning decisions.</li><li>Manage outsourced tax agents and/or assistants to ensure the quality and accuracy of their work.</li></ul>Financial Reporting & Internal Control<ul><li>Prepare, analyze, and deliver financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, in accordance with PRC accounting rules.</li><li>Support the reliability and integrity of financial reporting for responsible legal entities.</li><li>Update risk mapping for assigned legal entities and continuously improve internal control processes.</li><li>Review and interpret monthly financial reports to provide analytical and decision support to FP&A.</li><li>Monitor aging of current assets and liabilities within the assigned scope and follow up on necessary actions.</li></ul>Business Support & Cross-functional Partnership<ul><li>Communicate actively with business teams to answer financial questions and collect or provide required financial information.</li><li>Deliver training to business teams and participate in specific projects to support business operations and finance understanding.</li><li>Support broader finance team initiatives, including compliance enhancement, process optimization, finance capability building, digital transformation, and team activities.</li></ul>Process Improvement & Digitalization<ul><li>Participate in automation and digitization projects to improve tax workflows and finance processes.</li><li>Optimize and enhance data reporting visibility through data analysis and BI tools.</li><li>Contribute to building more efficient, scalable, and autonomous finance processes.</li></ul> Candidate Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>Professional accounting/tax certifications or relevant accounting work experience are preferred.</li><li>Solid knowledge of tax compliance, accounting principles, and financial reporting.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese; French is a plus.</li><li>Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting systems and technical tools such as Google Scripts, VBA, RPA, Tableau, or other BI/data tools is an advantage.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.</li><li>Results-oriented, accurate, and committed to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.</li><li>Dynamic, detail-oriented, service-minded, and proactive.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility.</li><li>A collaborative team player.</li><li>Willingness to travel for business; openness to relocation to another city or country is a plus.</li></ul>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
