<p>Key Responsibilities</p><p> </p><p>Serve as the General Manager's dedicated Chinese-English interpreter across internal management meetings, business negotiations, government and industry conferences, and hospital/KOL visits. The role is primarily simultaneous interpreting (booth and whispered), with consecutive as needed, and requires the stamina to sustain long, high-intensity assignments.</p><p>Translate and review the GM's written materials, including business emails, external correspondence, speeches and briefing decks, ensuring accuracy and a register appropriate for executive communication.</p><p>Prepare thoroughly for each assignment by compiling background materials and terminology ahead of meetings, visits and negotiations, so that medical content is rendered rigorously and accurately.</p><p>Accompany the GM to domestic and international business events, industry conferences and business trips, providing end-to-end language support.</p><p>Adhere strictly to confidentiality requirements and handle sensitive leadership information with discretion.</p><p> </p><p>Qualifications</p><p> </p><p>Master's degree in Translation or Interpreting; Conference Interpreting preferred. Strong simultaneous interpreting skills backed by extensive real-world experience, plus solid consecutive skills. Able to handle full-day and multi-day assignments. CATTI Level 2 (Interpreting) or above; Level 1 preferred.</p><p>Translation experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, with familiarity in surgical and clinical terminology and in hospital/KOL communication settings.
