Our company is looking for a skilled Big Data Engineer to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and drive the continuous improvement of our data platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless operation and development of our Big Data ecosystem, supporting essential business intelligence and analytics.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Core Business Objectives:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure 100% daily operations and maintenance of Alibaba Cloud DataWorks and Hologres data assets, including task monitoring, troubleshooting, and data recovery.</li><li>Respond to major incidents (e.g., pipeline blockages, data anomalies) within 4 hours and carry out routine platform maintenance.</li><li>Support and maintain all PowerBI reports and data cubes, including data source updates and model optimization.</li><li>Guarantee 100% core report availability and resolve major report incidents (such as refresh failures, logical errors, or permission issues).</li><li>Develop new reports/data cubes according to department requirements with an average delivery cycle ≤ 1 month per item.</li><li>Achieve 100% acceptance rate for newly developed features, adhering to data management standards and visualization best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Service Scope:</strong></p><ul><li>PowerBI report development: maintain existing reports, develop new reports, and optimize data models.</li><li>Alibaba Cloud Big Data development: DataWorks daily operations (scheduling, data updates), ETL development and optimization, Hologres engineering.</li><li>Data asset operations: routine tasks such as Python script development, intermediate database management, data repair, and configuration updates.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</li><li>Experience with big data platforms (preferably Alibaba Cloud DataWorks and Hologres)</li><li>Proficiency in PowerBI, ETL tools, Python scripting, and database operations</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and incident-response skills</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities</li></ul><p> </p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
