Project Manager experience in IT Service & Retail Operation management

Communication skills is important (English and Chinese)

Retail or similar industry background

Key Responsibilities:

IT Service & Retail Operation management:

Provide professional IT support to retail relevant applications (e.g. POS, Merchandising, Mobile solutions, Rostering, BI) and data integration

Utilize Remedy system to prioritize, triage issues and track status to commit SLA and seek for any opportunity to improve IT service constantly

Ensure all relevant systems running stably and efficiently to meet fast-growing business requirement with the proper monitoring mechanism and issue resolution process

Tune up end to end IT support processes and business communication approaches to get business satisfaction sustainably

Accountable for regular IT service review with all related parties mainly business stake holders, Regional IT, Global IT and vendors

Coordinate with Global IT and business to manage release and urgent hot-fix deployment

Vendor contract review and renew and SLA evaluation to improve service consistently

Good planning and execution on new store opening\remodeling\closing through the efficient cross functional coordination and risk management

Cost efficiency on IT solutions in varied types of Own Retail stores

Fixed Assets management and hardware lifecycle management of all Own Retail Stores

Key Relationships:

Country IT, Regional IT and Global IT

Own Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, e-Commerce, HR, Internal Control

Outsourced vendors

Key Requirement:

Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent area

More than 10 years of relevant working experience of business solution experience especially in Retail

Minimum 6 years of progressive work experience in mid- to large-scale (IT) projects or mid- to large-scale application service responsibility

Minimum 3 years of team leading experience

Strong knowledge of respective business processes and IT systems, e.g. SAP, POS, Omini-Channel

Strong business understanding, data interpretation, problem solving and analytical skills in particular at Retailing to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of audience

Strong Project management skill (both Agile and Waterfall)

Solid knowledge of programing, debug methods and Database like MS SQL Server and performance tuning with the experience of handling big volume of data

Good knowledge of digital/new retail/Innovation on Retailing

Excellent documentation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent spoken and written English

Confidence being as IT representative in x-functional communications internally and externally independently

Good self-learner for new technology or processes with “can-do” spirit

Ability to be self-directed and provide efficient deliveries while working under high pressure and tight deadlines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks through good time managements and full communications

Leadership as a role model in the team to deliver trustworthy IT proposals or solutions

Good team player

Flexibility to work in different time zones, evenings or weekends, as required

Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
