Job Brief:We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst with demonstrated knowledge of data analytics, dashboard development and reporting. This role will be physically located in Shanghai but will serve as a member of the global Enterprise Analytics team. The global Enterprise Analytics product teams partner closely with business groups, with responsibility for improving data access, data literacy, and analytic skills throughout all functions through an Agile-driven partnership with business partners.This role will serve as the teams' liaison to the China region, creating regional alignment with global analytic processes and access, and helping the global data engineering team develop solutions that meet the unique needs of the region. Business partners will include, but not be limited to, wholesale sales, customer experience, supply chain, retail operations and product merchandising.As a Data Analyst, you'll impact our ability to solve problems across all business functions in the China region. Your work building sustainable dashboards and analytic processes will guide business decisions made by stakeholders at all levels.You will be successful in this role if you're self-motivated and can run projects independently while collaborating with team members and business stakeholders.Success in this role also includes partnering with stakeholders and deep diving into business problems to move beyond requirements gathering to collaborative solutioning.This is an indispensable role with us, so we'll be looking for you to have examples of when you've tackled these challenges throughout your career. Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop a deep understanding of our business and data and ensure quality output and presentation.</li><li>Design logical views of the data that make datasets accessible and intuitive to a broad group of data consumer.</li><li>Spearhead data-driven decision-making processes in the China region and identify opportunities for meaningful growth.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to develop analytic solutions that solve challenges of your business partners to enable data-driven decisions.</li><li>Utilize Tableau as a tool for building dashboards that derive insight.</li><li>Teach Tableau and data literacy skills to regional business members to enable self-serve analytics.</li><li>Serve as the voice of the region by communicating with the global Enterprise.</li><li>Analytics product teams to ensure regional alignment and identifying opportunities for cross-IT support for data, systems, and process improvement.</li></ul> Required Education/Experience:<ul><li>BS/BA degree in Data Analytics, Business, Organizational Change, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field</li><li>5+ years' work experience in Consulting, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, or similar field</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Tableau, including designing and developing well thought-out data products (ex. data dashboards, self-serve data documentation, and analyses)</li><li>Proficiency in Excel, especially as a tool for quality assurance</li><li>Ability to conceptualize clear ways of visualizing data that go beyond trends to articulate the "so what" and provide key insights.</li><li>Ability to gather, analyse, synthesize, and present both quantitative and qualitative information effectively.</li><li>Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail</li><li>An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.</li><li>Must be an independent, strategic, and creative problem solver who is a great teammate (no job is too small or too large) and willing to tackle additional responsibilities.</li></ul> Preferred Education/Experience:<ul><li>3+ years management consulting experience</li><li>Experience in fashion, footwear, or retail industry.</li><li>Experience implementing Tableau or a similar BI tool within an organization, including leading Tableau training efforts.</li><li>Basic SQL skills</li><li>Background working in an Agile environment.</li></ul> Required Skills/Competencies:<ul><li>Working business-level fluency in Mandarin and English</li><li>Experience working autonomously and prioritizing with business impact in mind.</li><li>Passion for tackling ambiguous problem and creating tangible outcomes.</li><li>Practiced in communicating complex projects to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Desire to be in a cross-functional team where open-minded and transparent sharing is a tool for breaking down challenging problem.</li></ul> Robert Half Ltd is committed to equal opportunity and we value diversity at our company.
